Burnham Market Horse Trials - Thursday 10th - Sunday 13th April

Gaining international status in 2003, this April event attracts some of the best national and international event riders in the world.

Pageant of Motoring 2025 - Sunday 25th May

The Pageant of Motoring will showcase eight decades of motoring supported by live music and aerial displays alongside a variety of culinary delights and a craft & vintage fair. The event is a celebration of motoring throughout the decades combined with aerial displays and live music throughout the day.

Fakenham Races Ladies Day - Sunday 1st June

Fashion, food and having a flutter – it has to be the annual Fakenham Races Ladies Day. Chic outfits and beautiful hats will be in abundance as thousands of racegoers put their best Jimmy Choo forward to impress the judges of the striking Style Competition; with the winning Ladies Day outfit taking home a prize, plus other treats.

Norfolk SuperHero Challenge - Saturday 14th June

The Norfolk Superhero Challenge is a unique quadrathlon event that has raised huge sums for local charities. The Norfolk Superhero Challenge combined courses across land and sea, centred around the coastal village of Burnham Overy Staithe. More than 130 resilient racers take on the best of Norfolk’s scenery – and the worst of its weather – before crossing the line in a gruelling quadrathlon.

Bayfield Summer Solstice Festival - Saturday 15th June

Get ready to embrace the magic of summer at Bayfield Summer Solstice – A celebration of Summer’s peak taking place in this beautiful setting just outside the market town of Holt.

Hunstanton Carnival Day - Sunday 21st June

A weekend of festivities draws thousands to Hunstanton’s carnival parade on the Sunday. The Hunstanton event includes live music, food and drink and a parade through the streets.

Sandringham 3 Day Horse Driving Trials - Friday 27th June - Sunday 29th June

The Sandringham 3 Day Horse driving trials include races in dressage, marathon and cones in many different categories such as single horse, single pony, novice, multiples and open single.

North Norfolk Open Studios - Saturday 12th - Sunday 27th July

This July, immerse yourself in the vibrant world of Norfolk’s creative talent as Norfolk Open Studios celebrates its 30th anniversary! Explore the largest collection of open studios in the county, showcasing a diverse and captivating array of art and craft.

Holt Arts Festival - Sunday 13th July

The festival is an annual arts festival, which comprises a range of events, from food and theatre to music, fine art and more. There are venues all over town, in pubs and hotels, in tents and school halls. There are performances at the church, the Auden Theatre, in the bookshop, and the magnificent open-air Theatre in the Woods. The festival truly offers something for everyone with a varied seven-day programme of superb music, comedy, talks, poetry, and drama to enjoy!

Sandringham Flower Show - Wednesday 23rd July

The 142nd Sandringham Flower Show is one of the most prestigious horticultural events in the East of England. Set in the magnificent surroundings of Sandringham Park with Sandringham House and Sandringham Church as a backdrop, this one-day show attracts around 20,000 visitors each year. The attendance of royalty at the Sandringham Flower Show is definitely one of the main draws for this event, but the origins of the show go right back to 1881. The display gardens are always a very popular attraction, built as they are to a standard which can rival any of the major horticultural shows.

Norfolk Day 2025 - Sunday 27th July

Norfolk Day celebrates the great land of Norfolk. The history of this glorious county goes back hundreds of thousands of years.

It is believed that Norfolk has been inhabited ever since the land was discovered. This means that right now Norfolk is witness to more than 300,000 years of human history! Its scenic beauty has made it one of the most beloved counties in England. On Norfolk Day, locals and tourists join in the celebrations of the land and its people.

 

Wells-Next-Sea Carnival Week - August

A week of family fun and events including a Carnival Day procession around the town featuring floats, fancy-dress, pull-and push-along vehicles and much more. Wells-next-the-Sea in the heart of North Norfolk has for over a 100 years enjoyed a traditional summer Carnival for residents and visitors.

The 2025 Wells Carnival in Wells-next-the-Sea, Norfolk, will take place from Friday, August 1st to Sunday, August 10th. The Carnival Day and Parade will be held on Saturday, August 9th. 

Blickling Classic Ibiza Evening - Saturday 2nd August

The Urban Soul Orchestra conducted by Stephen Hussey returns in 2025 for its 10th anniversary of classic Ibiza anthems. The event will once again take place under the stars with live DJ and vocalists.

Houghton Festival - Thursday 7th - Sunday 10th August

Houghton Music & Arts Festival has gained a reputation as one of the must-attend electronic festivals.

Curated by British electronic wizard Craig Richards who also produces the much loved Gottwood, Houghton has won praise on all counts – lineup, scheduling, sound quality, location, atmosphere. More than 200 acts were announced for 2024, with non-stop music from Friday to Sunday.

Gone Wild Festival Holkham Norfolk - Thursday 8th - Sunday 11th August

TV adventurer Bear Grylls has announced that the UK’s ultimate family adventure festival, Gone Wild, will be returning to Holkham Park in 2025 and it will run across four days.

Get ready for four days of action-packed adventure, rewilding, and live music, with over 100 activities included in the ticket price. Building on the success of 2024’s impressive lineup, which included Example, Eurovision star Sam Ryder, Reef, Scouting for Girls, and McFly, Gone Wild will soon be announcing the headline acts for 2025.

Sandringham Game & Country Fair - Saturday 13th - Sunday 14th August

Join the excitement at the Sandringham Game & Country Fair. This action-packed event offers a fantastic day out for the whole family, showcasing the best of country life, thrilling displays, and unique shopping opportunities.

Sandringham August Concert Weekend - Friday 15th - Sunday 17th August

Sandringham will once again be holding a weekend of live concerts with Stereophonics and Michael Buble being announced as part of the 2025 line-up.

Cromer Carnival - 16th - 20th August

The Cromer Carnival returns as one of the largest carnivals in the country and culminating with a spectacular on Carnival Day when the whole coast comes out to party.

Hunstanton Lawn Tennis Week - Sunday 17th - Saturday 23rd August

The 104th week-long Hunstanton Lawn Tennis Tournament commences is said to be Britain’s largest event of its kind after Wimbledon, taking place on 38 grass courts. Starting at the Hunstanton Recreation Ground on Sunday, play will continue each day, through to all the finals on Saturday.

Holt & Sheringham Norfolk 1940s Weekend - Friday 19th - Sunday 21st Sept

In conjunction with Sheringham 1940s Weekend, the event celebrates the wartime efforts of allied forces and the remarkable resilience shown by those who dealt with the hardships on the home front. Expect the sights, sounds and style of the ’40s in the town of Holt.

Thursford Christmas Spectacular - 8th November – 23rd December 2025

What do you mean, ‘That’s not a festival’? It’s a festival of remembering everything you love about Christmas and is a fantastic reason to come to Norfolk in the winter.
